Illawarra Mercury Premier League - Round 1
Round 1 of the Illawarra Mercury Premier League kicks off on Good Friday (29/3) at Macedonia Park, Berkeley.
The White Eagles will be looking to put behind them a disapointing cup result yesterday by showing the 2012 Bampton Cup champions that the White Eagles are definitely a contender in 2013.
The club has had a very disruptive pre-season with injuries, suspensions and misfortune but this year the club has depth to ensure week in week out in the Premiership we will give every team home and away a hard game.
Kick off for the match on Good Friday is 7pm with the youth grade starting at 5pm.
"We have had a big downturn in pre-season crowds this year so far in comparison to last season so I hope the supporters will turn out and give the two teams their undivided support this weekend and prove that Albion Park White Eagles have the best, most passionate and loud supporters in the league", Club President Andrew Byron said.
