The Christchurch Bulldogs have always been there for each other on the field, now they are well and truly being looked after off the field with new sponsorship deals for season 2015.
The first major sponsor to come onboard was the Redwood Hotel, providing a sizeable cash investment and also hosting the after-match functions, serving as a much needed base for the football club’s post game ‘recovery’.
Bulldogs President and Redwood Hotel co-owner, David Hume, had this to say about the partnership,
"The Redwood is proud to be a financial sponsor of the Bulldogs. I have been involved with the Bulldogs since 2007 as a player and administrator. The spirit and determination with which the Bulldogs play their football is something that attracted me to coming on board as a sponsor. The staff at The Redwood enjoy seeing the guys down for the after match on Saturday afternoon. It is great to be able to offer something back to the Club after many years of association and to provide a convenient watering hole for the boys after the game.
The Redwood Hotel offers Bar facilities, a buffet restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, a function room catering for up to 100 people, and accommodation. The Redwood is enjoying its relationship with the Bulldogs and looks forward to an ongoing relationship. We look forward to watching the Bulldogs charge towards finals footy in 2015. Best of luck Doggies! Woof!!"
The Bulldogs are happy to announce a second major sponsor, Joe’s Garage Wigram, coming onboard and supplying Bulldog training singlets, player of the match awards, and fitting our ever swelling heads with caps. Owner of Joe's Garage Wigram, Anton Matthews, was happy to put his support behind the Doggies,
"We're proud and excited to be associated with the Christchurch Bulldogs for their 2015 season. Joe's is all about supporting the locals who support us so it was a no brainer for us. Looking forward to seeing the boys take home the trophy this year and celebrate in style at Joe's!"
Joe's Garage Wigram has been an extremely popular spot at 'the Landing' in the new Wigram Skies development, offering a high quality, fun and friendly experience, in perfect alignment with the Christchurch Bulldogs own policies and principles.
The support of local businesses will help tremendously to increase the awareness of the Canterbury Australian Football League, whilst also promoting those businesses around Christchurch and beyond.
