In the event training or matches are cancelled due to wet weather you will receive a text message from your coach as soon as possible.

Please note - there are two ways training or matches may be cancelled.

Firstly, the Council may close the fields to protect them. In this case we are likely to be able to give you a little more notice as we monitor the Council reviews and act as soon as we know the fields are closed.

Alternatively Council may place the field under caution, or we may get a big downpour overnight. In this situation the Committee is required to make a decision as to the state of the fields and the safety of players and spectators. If our fields are placed under caution on a Friday afternoon the Committee will not make a decision until early Saturday morning. This gives players every chance to play their matches but means we’re up and at the fields very early to inspect them. Please be patient. Coaches will not know one way or the other until around 7.30am. If the decision is made to cancel play coaches are advised and will send texts, and a post will go on our Facebook page. No news means matches will take place.

For away matches we monitor the position of other Clubs and HSA and will advise coaches ASAP once we're aware a match or matches are cancelled. Note: it is possible that matches will proceed at one field and not another so do not assume that because one match is cancelled that all matches are.
