2019 TSS SUNS SUMMER LEAGUE REGISTRATION INFORMATION  

Please find below the information on the 2019 GCJBL Summer League for all Boys and Girls

2019 WINTER LEAGUE PLAYERS DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER OR PAY THE $50 BQ/GC REGISTRATION JUST $150 TSS SUNS SUMMER LEAGUE CLUB FEES SEE BELOW

Summer Lesague is a 7-week competition, this is a short competition aimed at encouraging new players to try basketball for the first time. This is a less competitive competition with less Representative players not playing as they are playing Gold Coast Representative Basketball.  

 Age Groups   

Ú9's: 2011-2014 (Saturday at Carrara or Runaway Bay) 

U11's:2009-2010 (Saturday at Carrara or Runaway Bay) 

U13's:2007/2008 (Friday at Carrara and Tallebudgera) 

U15's: 2005/2006 (Friday at Carrara) 

U17's: 2003/2004 (Div 1 Boys Wednesday, all other teams on Friday) 

U20's: 2000/2001/2002 (playing Wednesday) BOYS ONLY

OPEN GIRLS: Wednesday Night

Teams

All registrations for new players are done online at the link below.Trials by invitation only will be held for NEW PLAYERS ONLY on Friday 20/9/19 between 4.00pm-6.00pm at TSS Centenary Centre.

Teams will be allocated on the number of players in each age group or if you prefer you can supply a team list with a Manager named to tsssunsbasketball@gmail.com before 15/9/19.

Training Times: 

Starting 7/10/19 - Mondays for U11/13 and 15 and Tuesdays for U17 and U20 and times will be advised once teams are allocated 

 Coaches and Team Managers 

The club will provide qualified coach’s, however in order for us to enter teams into competitions each year, we need to have a Team Manager. If we cannot get a Team Manager we will not be nominating the team. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Fiona Duncan on tsssunsbasketball@gmail.com 

All players must be registered with Basketball Queensland and Gold Coast Basketball to play as well as pay TSS Suns Club Fees. 

Below is breakdown of the payment options for this: 

 BQ/GC Registration for 365 days $110.00 - For New players only (10 years old and older) 

These payments are reflected on the registration form in two separate payments below, and will register your child for 365 days, this is an ideal option if your child is wanting to participate in the 2020 Winter League season as well. 

Basketball Queensland Registration - $63.27 

Gold Coast Basketball Registration - $46.73 

BQ/GC Registration for 365 days $60.00- For New players only (under 10 years old) 

These payments are reflected on the registration form in two separate payments below, and will register your child for 365 days, this is an ideal option if your child is wanting to participate in the 2019 Winter League season as well. 

Basketball Queensland Registration - $31.78 

Gold Coast Basketball Registration - $28.22 

 BQ/GC Registration for Summer League ONLY is $50.00 (registered until the 31st December 2019) - For new players only of any age

Basketball Queensland Registration - $21.00 

Gold Coast Basketball Registration - $29.00 

 

No player will be able to participate in any games or trainings if they are not registered.   

 TSS Suns Summer League Fees are $150 for all players and must be deposited into our bank account in one payment using your surname as the reference.

 You will not be able to participate in ANY trials unless you have registered and paid your Basketball Queensland, Gold Coast Basketball and TSS Suns Fees.. 

 Uniforms – There is no cost for uniform as playing singlets are provided by the club and returned to the team manager after each game. You will need to wear/purchase plain navy blue shorts NO POCKETS or LOGOS.

 Returning players 

If you have already participated in the 2019 GCJBL Winter season then you will already be registered with Basketball Queensland and Gold Coast Basketball and will only need to pay Summer League Fees of $150.00. Do not use the link below to register again.

 

TSS Suns Club Fees costs include, all game/training/trial fees, administration, team nominations and registration to BQ/GC Basketball. There will be no further payments during the Summer Season.
