2021 TSS SUNS BASKETBALL LEAGUE WINTER SEASON INFORMATION

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!!!

 

Due to the COVID 19 restrictions particularly with our training venue, unfortunately this year Registration is only open to TSS students currently attending the school.

The 2021 GCJBL competition commences on the 17^th of February 2021 and runs through until the 21st August 2021 (Please see the Calendar for dates below). The season will feature four rounds of grading, 11 rounds then Semi-Finals and Finals.

Competition Nights

U9/U11 Boys and Girls – Saturday Mornings

U13/U15 Boys and Girls – Friday nights

U17 Boys Division 2,3,4 – Friday nights

Open Girls (U13-U20), U20 Boys, U17 Boys Division 1 - Wednesday Nights

Age Groups

(1st January-31st December)

U9 Boys - born 2013 or younger

U11 Girls & Boys – born 2011-2012

U13 Girls & Boys – born 2009-2010

U15 Girls & Boys – born 2007-2008

U17 Boys – born 2005-2006

U20 Boys – born 2002 - 2004

Open Girls – 2009-2012

1st Trial – Monday 1 Feb 2021 Times TBA

at TSS Centenary Centre

All Trainings are located at TSS Centenary Centre

Coaches and Team Managers 

For us to enter teams into competitions each year, we need to have Managers. 

Each team will need to provide a Manager for the season.

TSS Suns Pay Structure 

All players must be registered with Basketball Queensland and Gold Coast Basketball to play as well as pay TSS Suns fees. 

Below is breakdown of the payment options for this: 

 2021 Basketball Queensland/Gold Coast Basketball Junior Registration Fees

All players must pay the Gold Coast and Basketball Queensland component of $130.00 (players 10 years and older) OR $80.00 (players under 10).

These payments are reflected on the registration form in two separate payments below and cover each player for 365 days.

Gold Coast Basketball Registration -   $60.91

Gold Coast Basketball Registration -   $45.45

 TSS Suns Club Winter Season payments are as follows: 

$350.00 to be paid direct into our Club Bank Account

Name TSS Suns Basketball BSB 484 799 Account 202 246 295 using surname as a reference.

Part payment option:
First instalment of $100.00 is to be paid on registration, with $100.00 on 1 April and $150.00 1 May 2021.These costs include, all game/training/trial fees, administration and registration of your team to BQ/GC Basketball.

 Please note, you will not be able to participate in ANY trials unless you have registered and paid your Basketball Queensland, Gold Coast Basketball and TSS Suns payments. 

 

Uniform

All players that DO NOT PURCHASE a uniform last year will need to purchase a uniform for As from 2020 all players will need to purchase a double sided singlet from First Ever at a cost of $60 at https://www.firstever.com/clubs/tss-suns.

TSS Suns do not wish for players to miss out because of financial hardship, we are more than happy to organise a payment plan to suit.

2021-2022 Representative Season

To be eligible to represent Gold Coast Basketball in the 2021/2022 South Queensland Junior Basketball Competition (Rep) and to be eligible to participate in all semi/final games all players must play a minimum of 50% of games in the 2021 Winter GCJBL Competition. Summer League is NOT an eligible competition.
