Greetings to all our sponsors on round 6.
This week-end we take on Lindenow at home.
The juniors continue to lead the way and the "B" grade netballers show no signs of stopping.
Last Saturday's matches with Stratford at Stratford were expected to be tough for the Seagulls and they didn't quite live up to expectations.
The under 16s started like a house on fire and won by 107 points, while a late rally from the under 18s saw them claim a thrilling 13-point triumph.
The reserves fielded an understrength team with a number of new faces, which are hoped to continue in the maroon and white throughout the season.
They started slowly and despite a fightback in third term, ran out of petrol and were rolled by 31 points.
The seniors looked set to hand the Swans their first loss of the season, before undisciplined acts saw three players sent off and the rest sucking in the deep ones. They ran out of steam in the last, losing by 20.
The Greg Dear Accounting "D" grade netballers were undone by 22 goals; Rivex "C" Reserve battled hard, but was pipped at the post; The Barling Family "C" grade suffered a similar fate; Betta Home Living "B" grade continued its fruitful start to the season, storming home for a eight-goal triumph; and Tambo Waste "A" grade was completely outclassed by the reigning premier.
The Seagulls have a chance to regroup in front of their loyal supporters and sponsors today, welcoming Lindenow for what should be an enthralling day on the footy field and netball court.
After today's matches, the club is hosting it's first function of the season - The Wild, Wild West night.
It's sure to be a cracker, with a themed meal for $15 and beverages from the Western era. There will also by a bucking bull from 7-10pm, with prizes for those who can hold on the longest.
The night kicks off at 6pm and all footballers and netballers are urged to attend what should be a great night.

Last word from the coach.
V Stratty we started as planned. Defence was frugal, midfield worked very hard and the forwards kept the ball in our half and kicked straight. 6 up at quarter time.
Deep into the second quarter the shit hit the fan. Undisciplined acts had 3 players sent off and another was injured. We battled and went to the long break 3 goals the good.
The second half was disappointing. The boys were spent from the second quarter effort and couldn't control the game like the first half.
After battling in the last we went down by 20 points.
Stevo kicked 6, Jesse Beha at full back was very good and Mick Battista was probably our best at CHB.
This week we play Lindenow. It's our most important game to date. We must keep up with the top two.
Changes are Jarrod Matthews back from a shoulder, Anthony Bence who was unavailable due to work, Matt Duggins and Aiden Vogrig.
Ben Crittenden ( suspended) Jackson Dear (work) Ryan Hooper and Gary Kramme (omitted) are all out this week end.
Go Seagulls!!!
