GREETING TO ALL OUR SPONSORS FOR ROUND 12.
Please consider our Sponsors day on the 26th and let us know.
The trip to Paynesville wasn't the most fruitful for the Seagulls, however there were a few positive signs.
The Tambo Waste "A" grade netballers put together their finest effort of the season on their way to an upset second win of the season.
Thirteen goals was the final margin as centre court player Mel Campisi and reliable defender Sam Beha played tremendous games.
Betta Home Living "B" grade had its first slip-up of the season, going down by two goals after a horrendous start. Defender Brooke Dyer stood up in the face of some Paynesville heat and Jae-Lee Greave gave her all.
The improving Barling Family "C" graders continued their steady rise up the rankings with a 13-goal win on the back of outstanding games from Michalla Radford and Jamieson Chester.
Rivex "C" reserve failed to capitalise on its chances as it went down by 14 goals, while the Greg Dear Accounting "D" graders put in one of their best performances of the season, winning by 24.
The seniors started steadily but were completely outrun after half time, losing by 49 points. Jarrod Matthews was best on with a great game at full back.
The scooby doos made it tough work, coming from behind to record a great win and remain in second spot. Candy Man was electric and Rob Sperring showed a wise head with the game on the line.
Richo's undermanned under 18s battled hard, but couldn't get the chocolates. Larry Yumo provided some highlights and Liam Smallwood was big in the ruck.
Hacky's under 16s held onto top spot with a 58-point win on the back of seven goals from Aaron Matthews.
Congratulations to Jesse Guarnaccia, Brendan Bassett, Aldo Saunders, Liam Smallwood, Jack McDonnell, Tyler Mann and Sam Gillard who were part of the under 16 Interleague premiership win on Sunday, especially to Jesse who was named best afield.
The club held a very successful Cow Lotto function last Sunday. Darren Reggardo was the major winner and Andy Stevens the minor winner. Barrie Jessep kept everyone entertained with a long set. Thanks to all those who helped organise the day.

The word of the coach.
Make no mistake this is a very important day for us! Famous last words from last week.
A shitty day at Paynesville and we played like we didn’t want to be there. They ran harder and were first for the ball and we were unable to get the ball into our 50.
If it wasn’t for the backline players Jarrod Matthews, Toby Eiseman and Adam Lowcock we would have been beaten by more than the 40 odd we were. Peggy and Zac tried hard but we were soundly beaten.
It now puts us back in the pack and battling to stay in the four.
Joel Waters back from injury, Jarrod Calloway in for his first game and Ben Crittenden up from the twos. Bency, Dalts and Steve Battista are all out this week.
This game is super important. Stratty sit on top of the ladder and even though we were competitive last game we must really play well this week end.
This is a must win.
GO SEAGULLS.
