what a nail-biter!
The seniors had us all on the edge of our seats as they held off determined Wy Yung to win by one point in an absolute thriller. Nice to knock off the Tigers after a lean trot in the past few meetings. Carl "The Glove" Hooper was outstanding at full back and Lowy did as he pleased on the wing.
The seconds continued to impress with an easy win by 31 points. Jarret worked hard, Stretch impressed in his return and young Rooster is getting better with improving fitness.
The under 18s had a difficult day and were no match for the Tigers, losing by 92 points. Digby was a solid contributor and Daisy worked his way into the game.
Hacky's under 16s got back on the winners' list with a convincing 116-point win, thanks to six goals from Jesse Guarnaccia and a best afield display by Sam Gillard.
The Tambo Waste "A" grade netballers almost pipped Wy Yung at the post, eventually going down by two goals. Cindy was best on and Sigrid played well.
Betta Home Living "B" grade continued its domination, overcoming a sluggish start to win comfortably. Jae-Lee worked tirelessly at wing attack and Cassie Clarke chimed in with support through the middle.
Barling Family "C" grade reversed its early season loss to the Tigers with a hard-fought win. Kylie Curnow and Fiona Yates were best.
After a slow start, Rivex "C" reserve got back into its match, only to fall short. Taylah Scott shot accurately.
Greg Dear Accounting "D" grade was always the underdog against Wy Yung and despite a fierce fight, lost by five. Anna Fountain and Tamsyn Duncan were the best.
Today we travel to Paynesville and will be looking to repeat what were able to in our Good Friday clashes with Gulls. They are the reigning premier in the seniors and they're in red-hot form, so it should be a cracker.
Awards are back at the Central from 7pm.
Cow Lotto is tomorrow at the club and tickets are still available. Tickets are being sold by senior footballers and Marissa McKean, with a handful still left at the club. Get your tickets today. The remaining tickets will be sold prior to noon, with any leftover to be auctioned. Don't miss out.

The word of the coach.
10 Games since we last beat WyYung!
This was part of the message. That and the fact that we are building a reputation of not losing at home.
We had good players back for the day. Peggy, Bency, Toby and Mick B so we were getting close to full strength. This match would be a very good indicator.
Then the bloody phone rang and I didn’t like the look of the number. Andrew Stevens!
Sure enough crook guts and couldn’t play. This would be the one player we couldn’t replace. A goal kicking forward who smashes packs and makes the other players walk tall.
The game went as planned. Our endeavour was fantastic, we moved the ball well, changed direction, ran very well and when the siren sounded we were in front.
However we butchered the ball, couldn’t hit a target and struggled to kick goals.
Jesse and Lowy were very good for us.
This week we play Paynesville away. We need to keep winning to maintain our position at the pointy end.
Stevo Dalts and Vogo are back but we lose Joel Waters with a suspect hami. Critta and dolly were omitted.
Make no mistake this is a very important day for us!
GO SEAGULLS.
