The aims of “READ the PLAY” are to:
J Increase knowledge and awareness about mental health problems
J Value looking after your own mental health
J Remove the stigma attached to mental health
J Encourage early seeking of help if concerned about mental health issues
J Increase knowledge about local support services
J Increase confidence and skills in guiding our youth to relevant support services
The “READ the PLAY” evening will be run by mental health workers and our Netball and Football Player Welfare Officers. It is a fun night designed to engage young people with a series of interactive team games.
