Anzac Day Trifecta for Wolves

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. Lest we forget.

Thank you to everyone who shared our Anzac Day tribute to honour those soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The Wolves U18 side started with the bare minimum number of players and although against the odds, put on a brave performance but in the end were outnumbered. Best players were Rob Comans, Cam Gallo and Jack Tier.

Coach Rob Manning and his team were looking for back to back wins and produced a solid performance to win by 37 pts. Straight from coaching the U18's Dean Purtle was BOG, ably supported by Scott Addicott kicking 5 goals and Flynn Pettersson roaming far and wide across the backline.

Our Division Two team was very keen to put behind their slow start to the season and with the return of some Club stalwarts Squirter, Gumby and Hollywood Frankie put on a great display to win by 35 pts. Best players were Ben Hawkins, Luke Slobin (kicked 4) and Frankie.

Against last year's Premiers ECE, the Div One game proved to be a tight contest but the Wolves came thru in the end to win by 14 pts. Best players were Ty, Jabba and Robbo but it was great to see our new playing Coach Cressa get amongst the goals with 6 and also take the mark of the day.

We welcome Southern Power, UNSW and Syd Uni to Pittwater Oval this week, may Footy and the Wolves be the winners.

We encourage all members and supporters to join the Manly Wolves as Social members, which entitles you to free membership of the Diggers and FREE entry to the Wolves tipping competition. All details on the Club website www.manlyafl.com
