Hi Penrith Rams U18s
I am a parent of a Manly Wolves U18 player and was at Grey Gums Oval for the first time on Saturday 8th August.
Unfortunately our team was not able to field the required number of players and therefore had to forfeit the scheduled
game.
A "scratch" match was then played with your U18 team providing the Wolves with additional players. I am writing
to commend your team for the friendly, sporting and competitive spirit in which this game was played. It made our
trip from Manly to Penrith worthwhile and in a small way made up for the lack of a 'proper' game.
It is great to visit a club which seems to embody the great spirit of AFL. On behalf of the Manly Wolves U18s please
pass on our thanks to players, coaches etc and all involved.
