Conragulations to Abe Davis, Jordan Foote, Tyler Roos and the entire NSW/ACT Under 18's team which has won Divison Two of the National Under 18 Championships last Wedneday when they defeated Queensland 8.10 (58) to 6.9 (45) in what was effectively a grand final after both teams had won their first two games against Tasmania and Northern Territory.
Davis, Foote and Roos have all played in the Bulldogs system over the past few years, with Davis collecting a Sydney AFL Rising Star nomination earlier in the year. Foote also played in two Premier Division games for the club earlier this season, whilst his older borther Alex is a mainstay of thier years Premier Divison line-up.
The win was the Ram's first championship victory since 2009 after a period of dominance from Tasmania who have won 3 of the past 4 Division Two titles. With the AFL Draft only a few months away NSW/ACT gun and winner of the Hunter Harrison medal for best player of Division Two Isaac Heeney is expected to be heavily targeted by a number of clubs including the Swans. If things fall into place we might see one of our Bulldogs pups find themselves on an AFL list. Good luck to the all youngsters chasing their dream.
