With the Pre Season getting into gear the UNSW-ES AFC will shortly release further details relevant to players registering for the 2015 season.
Transfers - Inward
Any member who has played previously with another senior or junior club is required to receive a transfer from their previous club. This includes juniors moving into seniors and also members who may have played U19’s last year on permit.
This is completed via the standard transfer process through footyweb as always but is done before the player re-registers. Once the transfer is complete the player is then required to re-register online themselves.
Before a transfer is lodged online, clubs should get the player to complete a request for transfer form and sign. If there are any issues with the transfer Sydney AFL will request a copy of a signed form agreeing to the transfer.
Transfers open on 1st February and remain open until 30th June 2015.
Transfers – Outward
Any member who wishes to play for another club will be required to receive a transfer from your club.
The club will be advised by email of any such requests and will be required to action the request within six (6) business days.
Transfers can only be denied if:
- The member owes money
- The member has club property
- The member is under contract
- The member is on the Clubs Pathway Named List
For any denied transfers, evidence is required to be provided to support your claim.
Under 17’s wishing to play Under 19’s
A Local Interchange Permit is to be obtained from the junior club using the footyweb transfer process. When requesting the permit use a start date of 29th March 2015 and an end date of 26th September 2015 (unless a player is likely to play with more than one pathway club during the season so a weekly permit is recommended). This will avoid having to complete a permit request each time the member wishes to play Under 19’s. This permit will also enable the player to play for both his junior and senior club during the year.
