Belconnen midfielder/forward Josh Jennings was rewarded for his fantastic performance on Saturday with the Alex Jesaulenko Medal for best player on the ground. Jenno was knocked up getting touches all day and also dobbed a crucial goal. In particular his clinical disposal in bringing the ball into the forward line gave the tall timber of the Pies the chance to shine.
Josh has played in the streak of grand final losses against the Swans so to get one back would have been a sweet feeling. He’s been in fantastic form all year and his performance on Saturday was a great reward for his overall season. Congratulations Josh.
