Ern Dowling Medal Count

This Friday the 2nd of October will be the 36th annual best and fairest count for the Redland Bombers. After the Bombers best season to date in the AFLQ, who will win the coveted award for 2009?

Will it be young gun Justin Myers who had a sensational year off half back or Phil Carse who played the majority of the year through the midfield?

Will AFL legend Jeff White cap off a sensational year with the medal or will Jason Eagles 80 goals translate into votes? Blake Passfield has traditionally been a strong candidate with two second place finishes. Can he go one better or will impressive recruits James Charlesworth, Josh Norman or Matt Davies be the surprise packets of the night.

Other awards for the night include the rising star, most improved, best clubman, leading goalkickers, club person of the year, most consistent and best in finals.

One things for sure, expect the unexpected on the Bombers night of nights in what is sure to be not only a great count, but also a great night for all to enjoy.

To attend the night please book your tickets immediately as places are limited. Contact Maree at the club on (07) 3207 7865
