Redland 13.11 - 89 def by
Mt Gravatt 25.12 - 162
Phil Carse wins his second best and fairest in three seasons, Jack McDonald wins his second consecutive Peter Gregory medal and Michael Cook takes out the Ron Sheppard medal for best in the U18's.
Hosted by Andrew "Nipper" Mellor, the night was a great success and was enjoyed by the nearly 200 strong crowd.
Carse took out his second Ern Dowling medal in three years after finishing third in 2008 after a strong year in the midfield in which he won state honours, was an AFLQ team of the year member and finished fourth in the Grogan Medal.
Carse finished the night with 108 votes to finish 12 votes clear of dashing half back Justin Myers on 96.
Myers enjoyed his best season for the club, also earning state selection and AFLQ team of the year honours. It was a tight count all night, with Carse leading by just 1 vote heading into the final round before polling 12 votes against Labrador. At only 19 years of age, it was a sensational effort by Myers who is sure to attract attention from AFL scouts over the summer.
Jeff White finished third with a healthy 84 votes despite missing two games for the season, he was also rewarded with the most consistent award for his great form over the course of the season.
In the reserves Jack McDonald won his second consecutive medal in a landslide, polling 101 votes, 41 ahead of Toowomba youngster Tom Rudolph who capped a fine year in which he played several senior games.
U18 young gun Michael Cook won his best and fairest with 72 votes despite not deciding to play until round 5. He narrowlyt defeated Joe Graham on 66 votes who also played many games in the reserves throughout the year.
