Six Bombers in State Under 21's Squad

As testament to the strength of the Bombers youth six of our players have been selected for the initial state U21 squad to face the VAFA U19's in Melbourne on June 6.

Matt Davies, Daniel Mowat, Justin Myers, Blake Passfield, Tom Salter and Matt Thomson have all impressed the selectors and will vie for a place on the squad over the coming weeks.

Bombers coach Matt Francis will join the U21 coaching panel this season as an assistant to John Blair.

Justin Myers and Matt Thomson impressed at state U18 level last season and will be looking forward to the step up while Daniel Mowat has only recently finished his U18 program with the South Eastern Bushrangers earlier this season and has enjoyed good form with the senior side over the past three weeks.

Blake Passfield played for the squad last season and will look to back up his good form.

Matt Davies and Tom Salter have been revelations after crossing from Victoria and Tasmania respectively.
