Semi Final (final match)
Redland 13.11 - 89 def by
Mt Gravatt 25.12 - 162
The Redland Bombers get the chance to redeem themselves this Sunday with their first ever final on home soil in the AFLQ state league.
The Bombers were dissapointing in their first final in 8 seasons against Southport last week, but will look to use that dissapointment to rebound strongly against fierce rivals Mt Gravatt.
Conversely the Vultures were impressive in their defeat of the Brisbane Lions in the Elimination final and have now won five matches on the trot after their average start to the year.
Several top line players like Shane Morrison, Jake Furfaro, Tom Tarrant and Rory Lake have re-entered the side and give the visitors a clear edge in experience.
Redland have been ultra impressive this season at home, winning 7 of its 9 games with a healthy winning margin, and will be hoping for a large home crowd to spur them on.
The Bombers may look to call on experienced players with bigger bodies such as Scott Tomlinson, Jaran Pantic and Justin Carey in what is sure to be a physical match.
The reserves kick off the day this Sunday at 11:15am for their chance to win a Grand Final berth while the seniors match will begin at 2:15pm.
Go Bombers!
