Many thanks again to auction donors. And congratulations to those successful bidders (Ken Skrinis, Jason Chandler, Jo Aked, Nola Wilkinson, Lee Anne Brooks, Robbie Mathews, Maree Walters, Chris Barlow, the Dodgey Brothers Adrian and Andrew Smith, and Paul Rolfe) who put $5,655 into the coffers. We trust you enjoy your purchases. Unfortunately we had a few no shows and we will probably have to pay as we were required to give firm numbers.
Nonetheless the night went well as we celebrated Amanda Derrick's 21st.
We learned that there are a few around the club that don't like live beef or cardboard chicken but the beverage package proved popular.
Congo and Ryan Clough won their money back in the raffle and Congo celebrated by checking out the inside of the toilet bowl in preparation for his new found plumbing apprenticeship while Cloughy and his family mourned the Woodsmen's loss.
Andrea Rolfe was voted as Belle of the Ball and her shoes were fantastic as well. Mitch Scales, resplendent in bow tie and looking very much the law student, was mooted as her Prince Charming but Rolfey got the verdict in wingtipped dress shirt and black bow tie.
Some photos of the night are in Caught in the Act (in the left menu)
But BOG for the evening went to Ben Walters who entered the fray with a beauty on each arm. How does one get the energy of three?three?
