Burleigh finished 5th at the end of the home and away season, but found form to demolish PBC and Labrador in the elimination final and semi-final and has now defeated Tweed/Coolangatta in the preliminary final held at Broadbeach today in front of a huge crowd of Burleigh supporters.
Springwood were narrow winners over Tweed/Coolangatta last weekend to book their place in the Grand Final to be played next Sunday 30 August at 2.00 pm.
It's hoped that that many Springwood supporters will be at the Grand Final. Should be a cracker!
