On the 1st of November Sandringham entered into a new 5 year alignment with the St Kilda football club ending a successful 9 year partnership with the Melbourne Football Club.
After playing in the preliminary final in 2008 St Kilda brings a very healthy and solid list to Trevor Barker Oval. Along with a host of talented youngsters the two clubs see the respective playing lists as very capable of both building premiership success and hope that the alignment will be the most successful in the history of the VFL / AFL alignments.
The President of the Sandringham Football Club, the Board and its members would like to welcome all St Kilda fans to the Zebras and hope that every St Kilda supporter gets behind the Zebras and comes and watch the boys play at Trevor Barker Beach Oval.
