“Fr Bob will have his Controversial Book on sale to sign on the day, The Book that the Catholic Church won’t stock has plenty of Bobs unique humour and cut to the chase attitude he is loved for, the proceeds of them going to the Father Bob Maguire Foundation.
This luncheon run every year of a home game for Sandringham against my team Williamstown where I played and later was an assistant Coach in a Premiership tear 1976, is also the Launch of the 20th Man Alcatraz Swim in San Francisco “Escape from Alcatraz” with the 20th Man Fund hoping to Open a Community School in the Western Suburbs to take in Excluded Kids (Keep Kids in Classrooms and OUT of Courtrooms)] very soon with the emphasis on job training and the Arts[Acting, Singing and Dance] among other Artistic disciplines. Doing the Swim will be World Open Sea Champion John Van Wisse who will train the Squad at Brighton Baths every Sunday during May & June, John will be present at the Lunch as well."
