Ballan Holden ‘Cruze’ into 2010 with the Tigers
Werribee Football Club President John Nicol announced to the 300 strong crowd at the
Tigers Best and Fairest Night that Ballan Holden had agreed to be the major sponsor of
the club for 2010.
This make it 11 years that the two major Werribee icons have enjoyed a partnership.
With Tino and Robyn Ballan in attendance the announcement was greeted with
generous applause and approval from the tigers faithful.
John warmly thanked the entire Ballan family for their support “ Tino and Robyn and the
family attend most of our games so this is not your typical commercial sponsorship it is
a mutual partnership and the Ballan Family has become a very integral and important
part of the fabric of our club. This is terrific news for everyone involved at the Werribee
Football Club”.
Regulars at Chirnside Park have become very accustomed to seeing John and Tino
standing in the terrace under the Social Club and sharing their thoughts on the various
aspects of the game, a sight we all can look forward to again in 2010.
