Hi Ormeau JRL members,

Just wanted to thank everyone that attended our Club Presentation Day. What a fantastic day it was!

Many thanks to the volunteers who helped to set up & pack up, to Kelly O'Donnell for her efforts in organising the event, to the Gold Coast Titans for their support & to all of our members who enjoyed the day with us!

Thank you to our Deputy Mayor, Donna Gates, for giving her time to attend our event and present trophies to our youngest teams.

Wow, what a weekend for Ormeau JRL!

Well, a huge thank you to the Gold Coast Titans & our Titans Ambassador Jamal Idris. Jamal surprised our young club members with a visit on Tues 24 July and joined in with some team training!!
Jamal was presented with an Ormeau JRL jersey by U8 players Kaleb & Toby. To the boys delight, Jamal wore the jersey during his visit.

Well, the Gold Coast Miss JRL evening was a great success.

A huge thank you & congratulations to Ormeaus entrants - Miss Mini Shaquille Lindsay, Miss Mid Rachel Pitkin, Miss Mod Shania Coulter, Miss Junior International Sarah Browning & Miss International Elizabeth Browning.

Our girls looked lovely & presented themselves on stage beautifully. We are so very proud of them all for having the courage to represent Ormeau JRL with such pride.

A special congratulations to the evenings winners, most especially our very own Shaquille Lindsay who won the Miss Mini category!
