Oakleigh Chargers created history by winning the TAC Cup Final with a golden point scored in extra time. Chargers Tim MacMillan kicked a goal with seconds left to level the scores at 81 points each. The Chargers found something extra in the final minutes of the game to kick two goals and then Jackson MacRae kicked a point in extra time to secure the TAC Cup. The Final score was Oakleigh Chargers 12.10.82 to Gippsland Power 12.9.81. The Gippsland Power displayed great spirit and sportsmanship is a grand final decided by the narrowest possible margin.
Jackson MacRae was awarded the TAC Cup Medal for the best player the ground, while Aidan Franetic, Tim MacMilan, Tom Cutler Jordan Collopy and Jay Kennedy Harris also player well. Kristian Jaksch and Jack Billings each kicked two goals.
