As announced at the Presentation Night recently 2009 Senior Coach Brett Davidson and Reserve Coach Alan Love will continue in their respective roles in 2010. It is very exciting news to have these two important roles confirmed so early in the planning for the 2010 season.
Davo returned to the club in 2009 after coaching the Bloods to their last Senior premiership in 1996. After fighting off relegation in 2008 the Seniors had a difficult year however finished strongly with a massive win in Round 18 to avoid relegation. A huge amount of 08 & 09 Under 19 players debuted in the Seniors and this is very encouraging for the upcoming 2010 season.
Lovey began his coaching career as playing coach with the reserves in 2009 and although they struggled on field there were numerous positives to come out of it. A young leadership group took charge under Lovey and all performed tremendously well in the B&F and also with their on field leadership.
All is in readiness for a massive 2010 and details for pre season will be outlined soon on the website.
