NORTH BRUNSWICK 8.12.60
def
PARK ORCHARD 1.1.7
Capping off a wonderful season where they only lost one game for the entire year - North Brunswick's Under 11s put together a fine performance and spirited team game as they trounced Park Orchards by 53 points at Macleod Park on Sunday, 31st of August.
20 scoring shots to two really told the tale of North Brunswick's dominance and the way the boys worked together to perform so well on their 'big day' is testament to the great work of Rick, their Coach.
Congratulations to all those involved in what was a memorable season for all of the Under 11s boys.
We also had some very strong individual efforts over the year that should be acknowledged:
Bilal Atik polled 20 votes in the league Best & Fairest; finishing third overall and;
Brandon Henley-Smith (12 votes), Issam Abou-Eid (8) Moe Saad (7) as well as Zacharia Atik and Ersan Aktas all polled strongly in the league voting.
In the Under 13s, although our boys had to disband early in the season due to a lack of numbers this year, Ahmed Mohammed, played out the remainder of the season with Preston and finished 4th in the league Best & Fairest with 19 votes.
Everyone at North Brunswick looks forward to a big 2009 where hopefully we can get lots of numbers and also plenty of parent involvement to really progress our Junior Club - and add to this seasons fantastic Premiership Success.
