Brett Voss is the winner of the Best & Fairest for season 2009. As we all know, Brett had an excellent season, leading from the front whether it being playing on the ball or in attack. Of course he had the odd foray into defence!! Well Done Brett on a fine season. Farooq, Froggy, Mohammad was Runners Up which continues his fine form over the last couple of years. After winning the prize in 2007, he has managed to be Runners Up over the last couple of years. Stef Erikson came third.
Jarrod McLauchlin was a very deserved winner of the Reserves Best & Fairest, scoring enough votes in the last game to snatch victory from Luke Pitcher.
In the U/19s, Jack Steen was rewarded for a consistent year in taking out the award. He held off Rhys McMurray. Jack stuck to his guns throughout the year and he is a deserved winner.
The presentation night, when the above winners will receive their trophies is being held on the 16th of October at McKinnon. This catered event,starting at 7pm, will be held at McKinnon and we encourage all supporters to come along and acknowledge the players and also the volunteers who make the club function. It is $45ph ($35 for U/19s) with drinks at bar prices. Let me know if you intend coming along.
