BLOODS GO DOWN TO BLACKS

The home side got off to a good start kicking with the aid of a five goal wind. While we held them reasonably well we were unable to apply much scoreboard pressure and unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of the wind in the second quarter.  In fact they kicked six into the wind and it was effectively game over. While we outscored them in the second half it was all too late.

Ste Erikson continued his fine form this season, kicking four goals in a rare foray into the forward line. Similarly young Matthew Lille once again demonstrated that he is going to be a fine footballer for the club.
