Benny Langford-Jones plays his 150th game for Old Haileyburians this Saturday. The extremely popular clubman played his first game for the club in 1994, although he apppeared in the club's photo history in a 1984 snap as an aspiring footballer. He played 37 official games in the U/19s. Records show that he has kicked 17 goals to date, but we know how unselfish he has been over the years, so there is definitely another 100 to be added to that figure.Benny won the Richard "Dickie" Metherall Reserve Coach's Award in 2007. Renown for his aggression at the ball and willingness to play in almost any position, Benny has been a great clubman and personality around the club for many years. He and his father Andrew form part of only the second father/son combination to have both played 150 games for the Bloods. Well Done Benny.
