In very windy conditions, the Sunbury girls started full of running, winning the
ball out of the centre and moving the ball quickly into their forward line
and by 1/4 time had a handy 29 point lead. In the 2nd quarter the Melton
girls started to tighten up and managed to limit Sunbury to one goal and but
only managing to kick two points themselves. This is how the rest of the game played, very hard tough and in close
football, only that Sunbury managed to kick three goals in the 2nd half.
Girls you need to listen to instructions given before the game on how we are
going to play against certain teams if we are to improve on last year. You all need to have a football in your hands
as much as possible and really improve your skills and fitness, this means
doing more in your own time. Remember it is up to you to arrive on time or at
least inform me that you are running late to games and training, it is YOU
that is letting your team-mates down, we now have the numbers, so if you
don't do the TEAM things then you may be spending some time on the bench with
me, it is up to YOU. |

Another good
team effort. Great goal by Jayden Pearce. Good players for the day were Brock
Willmott, Hudson Wilde, Harrison Hanley, Luke Heaney, and Jake Stratton.
Brayden & Jake did a great job as captains |

A low scoring hard game in trying conditions against a determined opposition.
Our team work and intensity for the ball and great goal by Jordy Kight in the
dying minutes gave us a hard fought win. |
