National Volunteer Week – Every One Counts

Over a million Queenslanders volunteer their time to organisations across the state each year. This week 14 to 20 May, we celebrate National Volunteer Week. We say a BIG THANKS to all our volunteers, many family members chip in each week to ensure our children get to play and train, your efforts to not go unnoticed. You may not always be able to help out or give a lot of your time, but to ensure the load is shared, always jump in and help out where you can each week, as always this is much appreciated and is a great way to mix and meet other members not only from your team, but within the club.

Ground Marshall Training @ Coorparoo Tues 29th May

When : Tuesday 29th May 6.30pm – 7.40pm.
Where : Coorparoo JAFC Club house
AFL Brisbane Juniors is providing free volunteer training for Ground Marshalls to improve match day environments at our football clubs.
As the most important off field role on match day, the Ground Marshall is a simple role, however critical to ensuring a positive environment for our children and families.

Umpires Round 4th-6th May

This weekend (May 4-6) AFL leagues throughout Queensland will take part in Umpires Round to acknowledge the contribution of AFL umpires to community football.

Umpires Round encourages everyone - coaches, players, administrators, parents and supporters - to have a positive impact on match day at all levels of football to assist with recruiting and retaining community umpires.

Coorparoo JAFC Receives Australia Day Award

Coorparoo JAFC has been acknowledged by Cameron Dick MP for Greenslopes for its outstanding contribution to the Greenslopes Community. On behalf of the committee we would like to thank Cameron for the acknowledgement.

We would also like to thank all our members past and present for their contribution to the club and community.

NAB Introducer Program with Coorparoo JAFC

Recently one of our members refinanced their loans with the NAB Stones Corner. As the club had signed on to be apart of the NAB Introducer Program, the club will receive just on $3000.00, as we introduced the member to the NAB bank.
