On Saturday the Under
12's defeated Yeronga, 4-5-29 to 0-0-0. It was the first
time in approx 25 years that a team was held scoreless in a Grand
Final. The Boys dominated the game with the score not
reflecting the boys domination. Congratulations also goes
to Matthew Hulme who collected the "Best on Ground trophy" for his
outstanding performance.
Unfortunately our Under
14's had a heart breaking lose to Redlands by one point. The "Roo
Boys" were the better team on the day but just couldn't convert when
required. They had four shoots on goals that hit the post! Coorparoo 8.10 – 58 def. by Redlands 9.5 – 59. They can all hold their heads up high,
has they have done the club and their parents proud.
