Football Vision Cafe -Initial Results

Raw results of our shared vision meeting
A big thanks to those who attended the Football Vision Café and
contributed to answering the question "What will New Zealand's oldest
football club look like in 2015?".

Although turnout was a little light at 32, we had coaches, managers, senior and junior players amongst others turn up.

There
was a great sense of enthusiasm for the ideas presented and in the
final result, a surprising unity in the themes that came through.

The
board is meeting to review the results and help formulate the feedback
into a shared vision that we can all get behind and help realize. This
is a process, as we have already shown, on which we want help and
input. With this in mind below as the results of the initial meeting.

The final raw summary of themes in no particular order was this (also see the attached photo):

-Growing the membership
-Sense of one club -belonging
-Development of Allen Hill (and Dacre Park)
-Location and physical facilities as well as capacity
-Having a single home
-(Providing) Exciting football
-Sense of belonging
-spread the load of work
-More integrated club
-Integration     -community
                       -communication
                       -(emotional) attachment
-Develop Allen Hill
-Player Retention
-Knowing catchment area
-1st Team football development
