Introducing Bay Olympic's Youth Girls Football Director
Katie reached high levels playing college football in America and played semi professional football in the Women's Premier Soccer League.
Katie has been coaching girls youth football at the club and high school level in America each year for the last eight years.
Since moving to New Zealand last year, she has achieved the highest youth coaching award and was head coach of one of the 4 girls teams competing at the Under 13 age groups of the Weir Rose Bowl.
Katie is also player coach of Bay Olympic's top women's team, sharing the coaching with John Bennett. This gives her a good insight into what is required for our girl players' pathway to the top.
Katie is also one of our coaches at our Academy!
Katie is currently working on her Master of Education (Health and Physical Education) and has a talent for integrating specially designed physical education and sports programs.
We whole-heartedly welcome Katie and we are very pleased to have a young woman of Katie's ability overseeing our girls football.
