LADIES DAY: SUPPORTING THE NBCF

EAGLES GO PINK FOR A CURE

The Robinvale Football and Netball Club will host a Ladies Day on Saturday 2nd May, Round 5.  The day is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the contribution made by women, in particular the effort and support provided by women to the Robinvale Football and Netball club and to the wider Robinvale community.

The RFNC Ladies Day will also raise funds and awareness about the importance of breast cancer research finding the cure finding the cause.

In a country footy first the Robinvale Senior Football side will be playing the match with a Pink Sherrin football and the netballers will be using a pink netball. After the match and as part of the nights proceedings both the Pink football and netball will be signed by all players and auctioned off.

All ladies are invited to attend the Inaugural RFNC Ladies Day. It is hoped that the girls will keep the football department honest and have this event hosted each year, after all where would those blokes be without our support!

The official starting time is 2pm, this is to coincide with the completion of the Senior Netball match and to see the first kick of that pink Sherrin as the Senior Football side commences.

There will be guest speakers, prizes to be won, and lots of fun to be had!  Donations are being sought from the Robinvale Business community to assist in the fundraising efforts.  If you are able to support this great event please contact Jackie Brown, Kimberly White, Fiona Moncur or the Sentinal.

So ladies, send the fellas off to the hill and bring your friends to pack out the clubrooms with plenty of laughs and fun to be had by all.
