The Rising Star curriculum is developed by our Head Coach Robert Wood and past clinics have earned a reputation for the level of improvement participants achieve over the four week program.
LP Aussie Hoops starts on Monday 20 April with 2 x trial session's offered, and the first official 6 week block will start on Monday 4 May, Time: 4.00 - 5.00 PM.

The program provides eligible children and young people aged 5 up to 18 who can least afford to join a sport or recreation club with a voucher valued at up to $150 for membership and/or registration fees.

Although we are all enjoying the convenience of having paid our seasonal training fees in advance, PCYC Management still needs anyone who is on our premises to call into the Reception on their way past. This information assists in locating people for a number of health and safety reasons, in particular if the building needs to be vacated in an emergency!
Please take note that parents/guardians are requested to use the gallery on level 6 when attending their child/ren's training sessions.
Only the coaches and players from the scheduled team are allowed inside the court area when practices sessions are in progress.

Dan Atcheson in now among Lang Park players continuing to make a name for themselves as players both in Australia and overseas. Dan departs shortly for the USA after accepting a scholarship at Notre Dame College a NCAA Div 2 program in Cleveland Ohio. Our U11 Teams just finished playing the U11 Qld Club Championships and they did very well. The girls were first, boys #1 were 2nd, and Boys #2 played off for7/8th.

Lang Park with the help of Trevor Jarvis has been awarded a sport grant from Clough. Our Senior Ladies GBL Gold team were in need new uniforms and the grant has allowed us to source quality singlets and shorts which the ladies wore for the first time in their semi last night. Coaching DVD's have also been purchased to help our volunteer coaches...
For new and developing players attending our Friday sessions, Lang Park PCYC is the perfect place to learn to play Basketball. With Pam, Diane, James and Molly, children are given essential fundamental coaching as individuals and are taught the importance of teamwork.
