Term 2 West Brisbane Falcons Aussie Hoops Program
West Brisbane Falcons in conjunction with Brisbane Basketball will commence an Aussie Hoops Program in Term 2 to introduce new players to the great sport of basketball.
The program will be held at the Centenary State High School Sports Centre on Wednesdays from 4.15pm - 5.15pm for 7-11 year old boys & girls.
The program details are:
Wednesdays @ Centenary SHS, 1 Moolanda St, Jindalee
Starts Wednesday 6th May - Finishes 10th June (4:15pm - 5:15pm)
Costs $80.00 per participant per term (7 - 11 years only).
First time participants recieve a basketball, singlet and bag.

What is Aussie Hoops?
Aussie Hoops is a series of structured programs for beginner players in the sport of basketball. It aims to teach children aged between 4 and 11 years the rules and skills associated with playing the game. Aussie Hoops is run in a safe and fun environment that helps prepare players for joining a team in our organised club competition. Brisbane Basketball Inc. (BBI) offers the following Aussie Hoops activities:
Aussie Hoops Starter Program (7 - 11 years)
This introduction to basketball program aims to teach children aged between 7 and 11 years the skills and rules of the game. Players will have fun learning how to shoot, dribble and pass as they begin to play actual games of basketball.
