Eagles Soar High
MSBL Poeple's Choice East Perth Eagles soared into sixth position after smashing the Perry Lakes Hawks 126-87.
An incredible performance from Eagles big man Tom Jervis (31 points, 12 rebounds) and guard Drew Williamson with 21 points, nine steals, six rebounds and five assists too much pressure for Hawks.
Shane Ross (22 points, eight rebounds) and Matt Rosinski (21 points) were the standouts for Perry Lakes.
WSBL ninth place Toll Ipec Eagles defeated the seventh place Hawks 58-57 in a thriller.
The game was a close call with double-double's from Eagles Samantha Norwood (20 points, 12 rebounds) and Bindi Foote (12 points, ten rebounds) just too much for Hawks Kate Duff (16 points) and Chelsea Boyanich (13 points).
