Rick Rogers and Cameron Holland to play milestone games this Saturday against RoyalPark.
Rick Rogers will be playing his 150th club game when we take on Royal Park at Avoca on Saturday and Cameron Holland will be playing his 100th club game.
Rick has played for Avoca for the past twelve years, and like most left footers, Rick is a very good exponent of kicking a football. He commenced in the juniors in 2003 and advancing to the Reserves for the past nine years and has received a number of awards along the way.
Cameron first played for Avoca in 2009 in the Under 17’s and was last season the Captain of the Under 17 team, and was also Runner up in the Club Best & Fairest.
Cam would have notched up this milestone sooner if not for a severe facial injury he received early in 2012 when he broke his jaw, but to his credit he showed his team spirit by being the chief water distributor for the remainder of the season.
Cam and Rick have both given very good service to the club for which we are very thankful and we wish them both well for their milestone games this Saturday.
Well done guys!
