The existing committees are mindful that netballers aren't really interested in running football club matters, and vice versa. However, with social events, financial matters, sponsorship, memberships, volunteering, facilities management and policy decisions there are opportunities to eliminate duplication and share the load. That's where the one committee would play its part - and offshoots of this main committee would then be formed to manage players and coaches, fundraise, conduct promotions and publicity etc.
A model of what is being proposed is due out shortly and we want all members, supporters, players and volunteers to have a look and have a say.
