Though suffering with the flu and some hoarseness, Janice kept the groovers happy up until 1am.
Some of the more interesting offerings of the night included a football signed by all current AFL coaches and captains and a framed Makaybe Diva (hope that's the right spelling) collection.
Melissa Wareham took out the "grog and goodies" raffle - so we'll be waiting to hear the dates for her celebration party.
Organiser Cherie Lardner is yet to do the tally, but the night is expected to have raised several thousand dollars for both football and netball. Congratulations to Cherie for organising this fantastic event, and to Annie and the volunteers in the kitchen, Colby on the microphone and Lanika and Geoff behind the bar for all their hard work. The event was also a success because of donations from individuals and clubs of items for auction.
Look out for the next big event at BFNC - the mid-year ball, where you will be expected to rock up in your finest.
