ADRIAN COX TO COACH IN 2010
Former Sale Premiership coach, WGLFL Trood Award Rodda Medal (League Best and Fairest) Winner and Hawthorn player Adrian Cox will join Morwell next year as the senior coach. Making way for him is Jason MacFarlane who decided to step down from coaching duties, we thank hime for his two great years and for nearly getting us a premiership. Jocka will continue on in a playing capacity.
Adrian has settled in well and with the numbers we have had at training with many new players along with some more experienced players returning 2010 is looking like a promising year for the Tigers to bounce back from what was a disappointing 2009. Pre-Christmas training has ended and will recommence in January, if you are interested in having a run please contact Daryl Couling 0411112979.
JUNIOR TEAMS COMMENCE TRAINING
The Morwell U18 & U16 teams will both start training on Monday 1st February. With all the hard work that has gone on during the off season in recruiting new players to the club let's hope we can start off the 2010 season with some good numbers at training. Training will start at 5:30pm and will run Monday & Wednesday nights throughout the pre-season. Anyone wanting any information about training etc please call

BRETT STANISTREET MEDAL
Congratulations to Brett Knowles on winning the inaugral Brett Stanistreet Medal for being judged the Best and Fairest Player in the Seniors side for 2009. Brett had an outstanding season, his leadership, experience and the example he set is what has made him such a great player. Well done to all other trophy winners.

It was a great day with Morwel tasting success in the B and C Grade Netball, well done Girls and congratulations to Maffra on winning the Senior Football in a nail biter.
