WELCOME

On behalf of the Woori Yallock Football Club I would like to welcome you to our website. Hopefully during the upcoming season you will continue to join us each week in our quest for premiership points.
Log on for all our upcoming events and information on and off the field.
Here is just a brief history of our club, for more information go to our newsroom.
The club was formed in the early 1900's, matches were played at the Racecourse paddock, Killara (today we would know that as the river flats in front of the hotel). Compared to today having a sand based ground with drainage that has just been upgraded in the last couple of years, which gives us a good green luscious surface.
Woori Yallock has a very proud history both in football and cricket, with several players going on to play at VFL/AFL level. The most prominent being Damian Monkhorst our senior coach since 2002, Damian is involved with both clubs in senior and junior levels.
During the sensational 70's Woori Yallock played in 7 grand finals and were premiers on 4 occasions.
In 1984 Woori Yallock were premiers in Seniors, Reserves, and Under 18s which is our aim in 2009.
Over the last few years the club has gone through major renovations, with improvements still to come.
We pride ourselves on welcoming new players and supporters along with sponsors, as without all these people our club wouldn't be what it is today.
