Always a game of fierce rivalry between the Hammerheads and Bellarine Sharks this one was no exception.  Bellarine took an early lead after a great strike from Candice McNamara.  The Hammerheads equalised soon after a brilliant long throw from Tessa Walsh reached the waiting Cath Sattler on the edge of the box, who turned and slammed it into the back of the net.  Hammerheads made it 2-1 after the ball squeezed somehow under the unlucky keeper Jenna Sinclair.  Sattler pounced again just before the break a carbon copy of her first goal supplied from Walsh's great throw in.  The second half was more even with the Bellarine Sharks bringing it back to 3-2 with 15 minutes to go.  However, the Hammerheads killed the game off 5 minutes from time with an incisive headed goal from Christine Cuff.
