Media Release-Malaysian U23 to play in NPL 2014
Football Queensland is delighted to announce that the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) will field an Under 23 representative team in this year's National Premier Leagues Queensland Senior Men's competition – an exciting first for football in Australia.
The Malaysian Under 23 side, known as Harimau Muda 'A', will become the first international representative team to compete in an Australian football league when they take to the field in early March.
