Thunder players selected in the U13 Qld Country State Team
Alick Gaske and Fletcher McDonald have been selected into the U13 Queensland Country State Team to participate at the National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour from 29th September to 3rd October 2014
Both boys play in the SWQ Thunder U13 NPL team and through weekly identification of players throughout the competition saw them identified to attend the final selection camp in Townsville at the end of June.
Two fellow team players were also identified to attend the final camp - Dylan Leggett & Cormac McCarthy, with Cormac pulling out due to injury.
Both boys are presently attending extra training sessions in Brisbane with the Metro Team.
Congratulation to both Alick & Fletcher of their selection and we wish them a successful and rewarding experience at the Nationals.
