In 2009 the Fitzroy Gracemere Sharks in Rockhampton will adopt an all new revamped look with new coaching staff and executive committee.
Tony Wust has taken over the position of president and will be joined by club great Ian Thinee as vice president while life member and club stalwart Bruce Brymer returns as secretary. 2005 Sharks player of the year Ryan Wilson has been appointed Treasurer after a premature end to his playing career due to injury in 2006.
After a great year coaching the under 20's club stalwart Brian Rutherford retains his position while former Ollie Howden Medal winner Michael 'Kiwi' Wakeman will coach reserve grade as well as assist a-grade.
The club will also welcome Blair Vea Vea as head trainer which will assure the Sharks teeth are extra sharp come round one next year.
After a year off former junior kiwi Rex Gamble will return to not only the coaching ranks but the field as well which will serve as a huge boost.
The club trains every Tuesday and Thursday at Saleyards Park at 6pm and interested players should either attend or contact Bruce Brymer on 0417 794 722. Also any assistance in getting the club back on track and firing again would be much appreciated.
In the weeks to come this site will also be revamped with everything possible being updated.
