On Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25 2009 the Fitzroy Gracemere Sharks home ground of Saleyards Park will play host to the annual CQID Indigenous Reconciliation Carnival.
16 rugby league teams from across Queensland will battle it out to see who will be crowned 2009 CQID Indigenous Reconciliation Carnival Champions and share in over $15,000 in prizemoney. ($500 Team nomination Fee). 13-a-side rugby league with each side allowed a 25-man squad for the two-day carnival. $250 prize to the Fastest Player at the Carnival. $250 prize to Player of the Carnival. $150 prizes for Best Back and Best Forward of the Carnival.
