As a preseason warm up, the Womens team is heading to New Plymouth to play two matches against quality opposition on 25th March.  This will be the second pre-season kick out for the ladies after travelling over to Napier to play.

It gives coach, Craig Newell a good chance to look at his players before their first match which will be against Wellington United at Newtown Park on the 9th April.

After winning the Manawatu Division One competition - Valeron Wanderers competed in the play off matches against Stop Out.

Winning both matches earnt the team the right to compete in the Central League competition that is run by Capital Football in 2012.  This is the elite competition for Women and Valeron are excited about participating.
